Something someone told me that I'll never forget...Blog Every Day in May, you're really putting me to the test here! Rather than focus on something negative I remember (I just told you guys my worst traits - we're getting off the negativity train right here) I'm going to share with you one of the wonderful things my parents have told me that I'll never forget.
I'm lucky to have wonderful parents who told me this again and again growing up. While it made me happy to hear it then, it has an even bigger impact now. Knowing that my parents are proud of me and the choices I've made make me feel like I'm succeeding. That even though I'm a recent college graduate who is experiencing everything for the first time and trying my best to figure it out, that I'm doing alright. Better than alright, I'm doing well, and they're proud of me for it.
