Travel: The City That Never Sleeps

Happy Monday, loves. I don't know about you, but I could have used a few more hours of sleep last night.

Yesterday morning, we returned home from a few days in the Big Apple. While it was both work and play, we had an amazing time {and got little sleep, hence my sleepy Monday morning post}. What I like about traveling with Jack is that we tend to not do the "touristy" things - we try to stay with friends in the area, get around by walking or taking local transportation and eat at hole-in-the-wall restaurants where the locals go. And that's exactly what we did during the past few days. Our short stay in NYC was fabulous, and I know we're both {secretly} plotting our next trip back.

On that note, I've got quite a bit of catching up to do {extra large coffee, anyone?}

C

  1. Looks like a great trip! I bet it was well worth the "sleep hangover" :)

  2. It absolutely - such a gorgeous city! But I have to say, waking up in good 'ole MSP this morning was quite lovely.
