Life: Winter Weekend

And just like that, we're back to Monday, and another polar vortex.

I think multiple coffees, an infinite number of layers and a hot yoga session are in my future today...

Regardless, I had an amazing weekend. While the looming polar vortex made things a little bit difficult, I find myself enjoying Minneapolis in the winter just as much as I do in every other season. This city is a gorgeous place, and whether it's 100 degrees Fahrenheit or 50 below, this city has a lot to offer.

My Friday started off with ice cream at Izzy's (dinosaur egg and Mexican hot chocolate), followed by an evening with that darling lady below (indoors, of course) watching Freaks and Geeks, with wine in hand. On Saturday, we grabbed our crew and headed to Northeast Minneapolis to sip cider and socialize at Sociable Cider Werks. The very, very best, I tell you. On Sunday, we spent the afternoon with Jack's family, followed by lipstick testing (for a future Valentine's Day post, of course) and apartment chores. Winter weekends, I don't dislike you one bit.

Have a lovely (and warm) Monday, gems.

xo,
C
