Summer, take it easy. My calendar's telling me today is July 1, and I'm simply not ready for it to be this far into summer already.
July means that Independence Day is right around the corner (yay!), and Jack and I are heading home to my parents' house in Wisconsin for the long weekend. Bonfires, small-town celebrations, good food and great company - what more could we ask for? (hopefully sunny skies!)
On a different note, today marks Jack and my one year anniversary since moving in together. How did this year fly by so quickly? It's been a truly fantastic year, and I'm excited to spend many more years together with that goofball!
